I was trying bidslammer for the 1st time and had my bid set to be placed 10 seconds before the auction closed.
BidSlammer said I had under 5 minutes left, but when I looked at the Ebay site it said I had about 13 minutes left. Luckily I saw the difference with plenty of time left, so I got rid of the bidslammer bid and did the Ebay bid myself.

Thank you for your question about the snipe time. The countdown timer in your browser isn't linked to the clock we use for sniping. Your browser has its own clock, and unfortunately it is not very precise. We're probably going to remove that feature since some customers have slow browsers, leading to confusion.
Generally, refreshing the page allows your browser to start the countdown over, and show the correct time.
