I don't buy things on Ebay a lot so I only have a rating of 3. Your help page says to make sure I have 10 - will my snipe fail for some reason?

Thank you for your question about feedback ratings. The answer is yes. Sellers have the ability to block based on feedback rating. If you would like to bid on an item, it never hurts to use the "Ask Seller a Question" feature at eBay.
You can test it. Try to place a low bid on the item manually and see if it returns an error.
