I been using your service for years, thought I had a 'credit' on file but don't see it, see that you changed your system now. Why did I just lose this bid. I don't want this to happen again. Item # is no longer shown. It's the only item I 'sniped recently, an 80 power cord, eBay didn't even acknowlege my snipe.

Thank you for your question about this snipe. You had two accounts so I combined them and moved the credit over.
Also, we use authentication tokens now, not eBay passwords, so you just need to go to your Preferences and click the "Log in with eBay," button and you are all set.
By the way, to see this error, go to your Completed tab. There, you will find the bid placement times, and also a "log" icon that shows evidence of the full execution history of every step taken.
