Thank you for your question about your new eBay account. Use the "Sign Up" button on the home page; this fixes most issues.
Whether you are registering a brand new eBay account, or if you just renamed the ID of an existing eBay account, the Sign Up process will detect the change and either make a new account or just rename the account.
