I’m writing because your sniping system is not recognizing valid eBay item identifiers. When I enter a known eBay Item ID the system returns the error:
"The item number appears to be incorrect."

Steps I took:

Entered a valid eBay Item ID (e.g. 336228161390) into the sniping form.
Clicked Add Snipe.
Immediately received the error above and could not proceed to place a bid.

This prevents me from using the core functionality of the service — scheduling and placing bids on eBay items — so it’s impossible to snipe auctions.

Could you please:

Investigate why valid eBay Item IDs are being rejected;
Fix the validation so legitimate eBay item numbers are accepted; and
Confirm any temporary workaround I can use in the meantime.

Thanks for the report. This is working now. eBay had hard-expired our app token without telling us.
