I have been using your great service for about 8 years.

The other day I wanted to contact you because I thought someone had hacked into
you site and placed bids on our account.

I and our staff spent a half hour trying to figure out how to send you a message.

I see you now have a special notice that provides a way to contact you today.

I believe it would be in your best interest if you made it a LOT more obvious as to how
your customers could send you an email communication.

Also a few months ago we could not long on to your site at all for an estimated 5 days.
This was at the time when a lot of sites had been compromised world wide and I assumed
you had fallen victim.

However it looked like you were out of business. I employed some very talented people
at that time to try and find a way to communicate with you......we found phone numbers
that didn't work.........an office address for the company that we were not sure about........bottom line..........we had to just wait until you "came back on line" to learn
whether you were still in business or not. We lost about 100 bids we had researched
and were unable to enter at that time.

I'm sure you have your reasons why you want to be "hard to find" but I'm not sure
that your business model on this issue is in your best interest.

Lastly........when we used to enter bids..........if we made a mistake the bid didn''t "take"
there was some notification................now there is no notification.

When a person has to copy down a 12 digit number and then enter a 12 digit number
and do it perfectly........or it's all in vain...........it sure would be useful to have that
old "fail safe" error reminder pop up.........if the entry of a bid did not result in a bid
being recorded.

I have resisted using any other site but yours these years......even though I have been
provided with one that is free and is used by a good dealer friend of mine.

YOU EARN whatever it costs and I want you to survive and thrive.

I hope what I have written will be of some value

Hello Robert,

We sure appreciate you taking the time to write all this. You can always write us at support @ bidslammer. It's two clicks to get to us from the help page, but we really should make it just one (1). Google also gets to the support page if you can't get to the home page.

As for the other concerns:

1. Five (5) days ago we were installing our SSL certificates when you were trying to log in, but we didn't miss any snipes or anything drastic.

2. Back on November 22, the power users like yourself started getting page timeouts, i.e. the page could not load, because there were so many items being displayed on the page. We started to add pagination, but ended up deciding to do a total re-write of the front end. That will be released Monday.

3. As for the popup message, you mean the "Bid Updated." message when you click the update button, yes that is fixed in the new version also.

4. If you haven't completely pulled your hair out at this point, you can help us test the new version :-D ..... we will send you a link in email if you want to help.
