Thanks for your question. You are asking about proxy bidding.
eBay's proxy bidding system is designed to secure an item at the lowest price, up to the maximum amount specified by the buyer. When we placed your bid, eBay revealed that someone else had a proxy bid. The only way around this is to have the highest bid (plus a minimum increment).
