Hello Gerald,
I do see snipe times listed on the Completed tab, so we do know the snipes were placed ok. When I checked the log to see what we encountered when we placed the snipes, eBay did "accept" the bid submission, but they returned a "Captcha" page when we tried to log you in.
Sorry that this error wasn't clear, we do place snipes very well, but sometimes it is very difficult to determine the reason the snipe wasn't accepted; we have to parse (read) the result page that comes back from eBay.
eBay scores passwords. It's all about increasing your odds of getting a bid through. If you are bidding from your computer, they are more lenient. If you are bidding through an outside computer, like one of ours, it can result in a random security step or “Captcha†box on login through which snipes cannot penetrate. So if your password contains an English word, it will result in random Captcha dialogs and failed snipes.
Cheers,
