I’m hoping to better understand what happened with my failed snipe. My ebay account is in good standing and my snipe was well above the standing bid. I was watching in real time and it never placed my snipe. The log shows placing snipe twice but the bid amount never changed and obviously I lost. The completed auction does not show what happened, that it’s still processing why the snipe lost. I have other auctions I have entered and have even paid for an upgraded membership with bidslammer so I am very disappointed and cautious to keep using this service. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you for your question about these bids. To be totally transparent, we had to perform an emergency reboot of the database for security reasons. We reacted quickly, but some snipes in that time frame were unable to execute. This was a one-off situation and there won't be any issues with future bids.
