I lost a bid on ebay because of bidslammer not telling me I "revoked permission" for bidslammer. when I set up the snipe there was no warning that my permission was revoked. why?? I finally moused over the red tab on the bidslammer site on the item and saw permission was revoked by me. that mesage came in the last second before the bid ended. I never revoked anything with Bidslammer and never got an email or message that anything was revoked. so what happened?

Thank you for your question about this snipe. eBay revoked your authorization. Your token was revoked or expired, so you just need to go to your Preferences and re-authorize, and you are all set. More details follow.
To see this error, go to your Completed tab. There, you will find the bid placement times, and also a "log" icon that shows evidence of the full execution history down to the second. The message appeared several seconds after the auction ended.
Both indicate that multiple snipes were placed from multiple locations, and all bid attempts returned the same result.
In your case, eBay says the token was revoked, which can occur for a few reasons:
1. If you change your password.
2. If eBay sees a security concern, they will invalidate the token.
3. If you revoke it at My eBay.
That's all the information we have. As far as the exact reason, eBay doesn't expose any information to us that is personal or security related. They take privacy very seriously and limits access to certain types of data to protect its users' privacy. The only error we get back is "This Token has been revoked by App."
