I lost an amazing buy because of apparently revoked authorization.
Firstly I didn't revoke authorization and I didn't do anything that should've resulted in a loss of authorization, but more importantly, why is there no warning email??? Doesn't that seem like a really important thing to send an email about?
I would've won the item at an amazing price. Please send emails for revoked authorization. Thanks

Thank you for your question about this error. "Revoke" can also mean "expired." We do have period checks in place, such as when you visit the site each time. But this expired some time after you place the snipe. eBay doesn't allow us to continually ping the servers for such status checks, unfortunately. That is because we'd have to do it for all users and it just isn't practical.
