Please can the 'load snipe' option be removed if the item has already been imported to the watch list.

Thank you for the suggestion. We probably won't be adding this feature because users want to be able to set a snipe from the search results if one isn't set yet. Perhaps we can add a binoculars icon or something like that, but we won't be adding any new features for a while. It's on the list.
