Thank you for your question about this item. We investigated to see what we encountered when we placed the snipe for you.
eBay suddenly is rejecting your bids because you still have outstanding steps to take in regard to verifying your identity. eBay limits the number of items you can bid on (with a third party) until you complete authorization steps. That is why it is intermittent.
Please note, do NOT enable two-factor authentication, that is something else unrelated.

My eBay account has been active and verified for more than 15 years. Where are you receiving this information from that my account is not verified?
Also, 100% of the snipes were working a few days ago. If there was an issue with my eBay account verification, snipes would not have worked a few days ago. It has only been the past few days where snipes are not executing.
Can you please reinvestigate or provide more info because your last response doesn't appear to make sense unless I am missing something?

We did place the snipes. Determining win/loss status is a lot more difficult as eBay is constantly adding new conditions.
There are 3 kinds of verification - verifying the account, verifying identify by phone, and two-factor auth. I'm referring to the second one. eBay is cracking down on security for third-party offers, and unfortunately sniping counts as a third party. It's like Captcha - it does not happen every time.
If you'll do the phone step, I've also turned on very detailed logging for your account so we can give a more definitive answer if it happens again.
