I'm confused that I lost the bid on an auction which was very important to me although the bid increment was met. The winning bid was $820 my max bid was $847.71 and the increment was $5.
I took some screenshots to help show the issue although I do not see anywhere to upload them in this form.

Thank you for your question about this snipe. You can see the error under your "Completed Snipes" tab -- by hovering your mouse over the red exclamation mark for the snipe.
You did not win because the seller used the eBay option to "Block buyers who caused
(N) cancellations of unpaid purchases within (N) months."
