I have not used this site in a long time. I'm having trouble with my login. I have used the reset password and reset was successful. When I reset my password is the only way I can get in to the site. When I was logged in my old site ID showed (JDSSIC). When I logout and try to login again I get this error. Error in login
Sorry, we could not verify your information. Please try again. I tried using my Ebay ID, my old site ID and my email. All give me the same error. But if I reset my password using [edited] email when I get the link and change my password I get in.

Hello Joe,
Thanks for your question about recovering your password. Your best bet is to click "Sign Up" on our home page, and go through the authorization process. This will take you back to your old account. It will not create a duplicate account.
Also, make sure to follow any prompts to change your passwd after you have completed this process.

So I followed the process outline above. That did bring me to my account. I got the message:
Authorization Successful!
We are now authorized to place bids for you on eBay. You are now logged in and ready to place snipes!
We sent you an email to set a password. Or you can set a password now.
I'm not sent a email to change my password and when I click on "Set a Password Now" I get the following error message:
Invalid Link
It appears that our mail-password utilty send you an invalid link. Usually this is because you had more than one account with us for some reason.
Please contact us and we'll determine the problem for you ASAP.

I apologize for the late reply, somehow I overlooked your response.
Please try this again, and it should work.
The issue here is that you changed your eBay userid since five years ago, when you used us last. So our software created a duplicate account, and our software is sending you a link to the old account.
Some time in the future, we'd like to merge your new account to the old one, but we'd like your snipes to finish first.
