I get the following error message on bid slammer, which does not seem consistent with eBay instructions.
Can not confirm password

We could not confirm your password with eBay. Please verify your password at the eBay site to make sure you are not being prompted for security questions or account messages.

Also, make sure not to try too many attempts within one minute, or eBay returns a Captcha dialog. This confuses our pass/fail test.

Log into eBay directly to see if eBay is throwing up an alert dialog when you log in to eBay.com. If you can log in without any warnings, you are ok here.

Let us know if that works and then we can take the next step.

OK Great. It's no trouble for me to log-in to eBay. For some reason the Bidslammer form has my username (same for Bidslammer and eBay) listed in the email field, and I was unable to correct this. Other than logging in, there is not an eBay process to "verify your password" only to update i.e. change the ebay password. In any case, if you say I am OK, then I will keep using Bidslammer.

If the information doesn't verify then we don't replace the old information.

I think you've had so many attempts from our IP address, that we have to wait 12 hours for it to go away. Also make sure you have deleted all snipes for the next 18-24 hours.

The problem is most likely the fact that eBay is temporarily giving us a captcha (security) dialog, which goes away after 12 hours, because they experienced three (3) login failures from the BidSlammer's IP address. It's just a temporary security precaution they put in place that goes away after 12 hours.

So if you still have a problem tomorrow, please let us know and we can take the next step.

I am not getting a captcha when logging into eBay. And I can't use bidslammer to place snipes, which is not so good.

As per above, it's based on BidSlammer's IP address (not yours). It's from too many failed attempts. The wrong password was definitely being entered a few times. In 12 hours it will be ok.
