Hi. This is the first time I have used an auction bid sniper tool for ebay. I am looking to win bids for products in the price range of between £10 - £50 and even though I have read your documentation, I am still not sure the ideal 'lead time' to set for the best chance of winning a bid. I am not sure if the distance between your servers and the ebay servers has an impact on this. Can you please advise your recommended 'lead time' for optimum performance? Thank you

Thank you for your question about lead time. I prefer 5 seconds myself. The main thing is to be the highest bidder.
The lead time is only relevant if there is a tie. In that case you want your bid to come in a little bid earlier. The distance to the server does not matter since we place the snipe from multiple locations.
Offhand, the bid itself is an HTTP request, which travels at approximately the speed of light. So you're ok there. :D
