I've noticed that the items I have set snipes on are not updating when the current bid changes. On one (the macbook air) I have been outbid on, yet my bidslammer dashboard says the current bid is below my max snipe amount.

Thank you for your question about refreshing the bid and price attributes of a listing while it is in progress. We do a periodic refresh of all items, but at eBay's request, we limit the number of update requests per day. However, you can perform a refresh manually as often as you like, as follows.
On your "Current" items tab, there is a "Refresh listings" link at the top of the table. If you click this, it will update all of the items in your list.
