My bid was more than it sold for, the bid was "placed," I was charged, but I still did not get the item. What gives?

Hello Jeffrey,

I looked on your "Completed Snipes" page to see we placed your snipes, and I do see that we placed at least 2 snipes and received the same exact result for each one.

I checked our logs to see what condition we encountered when we placed your snipes. eBay did not accept your login credentials.

The solution is to update your correct eBay credentials on the BidSlammer Preferences page:

https://bidslammer.com/user/prefs/

I updated the status of the auctions. We will certainly refund any snipes. Remember, we cannot accurately determine the win status unless we have the correct eBay credentials.

Please let us know if we can help further.

Cheers,

Jeremy, this is the problem. eBay is stricter on passwords that do not originate from your computer. You must change your eBay password to ensure that all of your bids are successful.

Please read more information here, in item #3:

Are you saying that in order to use bidslammer successfully, I need to change my password frequently?

eBay scores passwords. It's all about increasing your odds of getting a bid through. If you are bidding from your computer, they are more lenient. If you are bidding through an outside computer, like one of ours, it can result in a random security step or “Captcha” box on login through which snipes cannot penetrate.

It's all about increasing your odds of getting a bid through. You don't want to use a password with an English word, because it will result in random rejections.
