Hi there. I would like to find out more about what happened with this auction. I am confused, because I had a higher bid, and yet I lost the auction with a single other bid placed. Is this because I left too much time before the end of the auction and someone put in their bid in those last three seconds? I am tired of losing these auctions, and I need to understand why this service keeps failing.

Thank you for your question about this snipe. I could only find one incident like this, and you should be fine with 3 seconds lead. eBay simply took longer to execute the bid relative to other snipes.
On other occasions, you did not meet the minimum bid increment. For a bid to register on eBay, when there are already at least one (1) or more existing bids, the "bid increment" must be added to the current price to win.
