Yesterday, Thursday, I wanted to add snipes for 3 items. The first two snipes were added normally. I tried adding a third and after entering the information (Item No., Max Bid, etc.), rather than listing the snipe in my current snipes, I get the “revolving ball of dots” just below the Item Number box. Presumably an indication that it is loading / processing but after a few minutes something times-out, the snipe has not been accepted and bid information gets cleared.
I tried the same Item Number this morning with the same result; “revolving ball of dots” and no snipe added. The item is still available on eBay (ends at noon). I have entered the bid information by typing the Item Number and by coping directly from the eBay page with the item I want. I get the same result.
Can you check this website function or let me know if I need to try something different?
Thank you,

Hello,
After a software update, there was an issue with adding items from the "Completed" tab. This should be working now.
Every five minutes the page reloads automatically, so hopefully that explains that portion of it.
Please try it and let us know if it works ok now.

Thank you for your quick response but still no luck. Before reading your reply, I completely re-started my computer. I opened BidSlammer and eBay. I entered bid information for the same item and got the previous result—revolving ball of dots.
I can open the "Completed" tab and see the two snipes that were added yesterday—which I did not win because I did not set my maximum bid high enough.
I tried adding the snipe for Item Number 173691613472 again just before sending this reply to you with the same result.
Next idea??
Randy
P.S. If you don’t already know, my subscription ends 2020-06-24 so that shouldn’t be the problem.

UPDATE: I just added a snipe for another eBay item. After entering the information and clicking “Add snipe,” within a few seconds the snipe showed up on the “Current” tab. I then tried adding the problem item, 173691613472, with the same result, revolving ball of dots, timeout and then item not added.
Maybe there is a problem with that particular acution item. Is there any reason that a particular auction item would be accepted for a snipe and another would not?

UPDATE to the UPDATE: I just got the snipe for the problem item added by changing the Lead Time to 5 seconds. The previous snipe I added a few minutes ago for the other item had a lead time of 4 seconds; as did the snipes I added yesterday. I deleted the snipe for the problem item with the 5 second lead time and tried again, changing the lead time to 4 seconds. I then got the previous result, revolving ball of dots with no snipe added. I then tried again, same problem item, and changed the lead time to 5 seconds and the snipe was accepted. It now shows on the “Current” tab.
A one second lead time probably won’t make a difference whether I win or lose on this particular item but I'm just sending this to you FYI.
Thanks,
Randy

Thank you for the response. Actually, after your first follow-up, we realized the new software code hadn't been released to production yet. So this is why it worked the second time.
If you find any other issues please feel free to report then and we will respond ASAP.
Good luck sniping!
