Thank you for reporting this snipe. I checked to see what we encountered when we placed the snipe.

I see that you had two auctions that fired at the same time, Sunday near 8pm. This is prime time, and another user placed several hundred auctions to fire at the same time. Apparently the seller they buy from uses a listing service that lists them all at 8:00:00pm, instead of staggering them as most services do.

In 25 years, we never encountered this situation! So we released a software patch to limit the number of snipes per second, per user, to 100.
