Frustrated that I missed out on an auction due to another site failure

I'm getting frustrated because I missed out on these notebooks. And this isn't the first time that something like this has happened in the last couple of months for bidslammer. The service went down at several different intervals. You guys have a great service when things are working but you don't communicate how, why the service went down, and for how long these things happen. We were given no indication. Sometimes the site doesn't work but placed bids still go through. Sometimes no bids work like today. It's frustrating. I'd like for you at bidslammer to remedy the inconvenience. Potentially in the form of an extension in my subscription because it doesn't seem fair that the subscription winds down even on days where the site doesn't work. I've been with you guys for several years but the lack of communication other than a brief message at the top of the site is frustrating.

Thank you for taking time to share your concerns. In the May 22 release we did post extensive hourly updates, and no snipes were missed.
As for the latest message, there wasn't much more to say than we had to do an emergency reboot for security reasons.
The sniper is tried and true. But yesterday, there wasn't much more to say than we had to do an emergency reboot. There is no forewarning for that, and it only happens about twice a decade. It was human intervention, not a stability issue.
On the April 22 release, no snipes were missed; the issue is that the new browser versions cache the Javascript files. So your browser was loading the old javascript. We have since put in measures to "bust the cache" and it will never happen again.
Essentially any issue we've ever had, never happens again because we stay on top of everything hourly.
I hope this has been resolved to your satisfaction. Please let us know if you see any other issues.
