I would find it very handy to have a free-form comment box for each item that is in the current snipes list. It would save me time looking at my notes toward the end of the auction to determine if I should bump my snipe or not.

Thank you for your suggestion. This is a good suggestion and will probably get added soon. Most likely we will add a "tags" feature as well.
How many characters do you think are needed for a comment?

Cool. For me, say 100.

Would notes need to be repeated across multiple items? I'm trying to think about usability, that is, if a note had to be copied across dozens of items.
