continuing missed snipes--please read carefully

This is really getting serious. You have missed my last six snipes! You have told me various things, including that the problem is that my Ebay info (password, etc.) is not correctly entered into Bidslammer. THAT IS NOT TRUE. After your last message, I reentered my Ebay name and password, I got a green response from Bidslammer indicating it was correctly entered. Just like before. Nevertheless, the snipe missed and I lost the auction (which I might have won). THIS CANNOT CONTINUE. I have been using Bidslammer for a long time but unless this can be fixed I am going have to abandon Bidslammer and go elsewhere.

Again, my Ebay info in Bidslammer is correct. There is nothing else I can do. Something is obviously very wrong and you have done nothing to fix it except to keep telling me that my info is wrong. It is not.

So, do you want me as a customer or not? If you do, let's get it together. If not, say so, and refund my balance.

Hello Erik,

This is certainly a reasonable request. I reviewed your account in detail, as well as your other tickets. It looks like you followed all of the advice we offered in the previous emails.

I looked at all of the last snipes since August and they are all doing the same thing. We are logging you in ok, so the credentials work. And we receive a confirm bid page. But then when we confirm the bid, we receive a blank page back from eBay.

This is odd, as all we are doing is the same actions that the buyer would take through a browser (we are literally automating the process of clicking the "Confirm Bid" button). So the first thing is to confirm that you can actually place bids yourself manually. I assume that will work.

If you are willing, the next thing to try is to place a test snipe on one of eBay's test auctions. You are not required to purchase the item.

We'll refund you of course, although I would prefer to understand what's going on. I can assure you the service is working perfectly, as if something isn't working we'll get hundreds of emails.

Kind regards,

I just caught something in our logs!

It appears that when you entered your eBay userid, somehow a few extra spaces were appended to your userid.

So eBay did not recognize the userid because it had this extra characters.

So I just fixed it so that no extra spaces can be stored.

You don't need to do anything. It will definitely work now.

Thank you for taking the time to write in. Please let us know if we can help further.
