When entering snipes sometimes the site will not accept them as if there is not enough time. Sometimes the items are 10-15 minutes from ending. I thought the minimum time limit was just 2-3 minutes from ending. Why is this happening. Been doing this for about two weeks now. BTW seems anything over 20-30 minutes from ending still enters fine, just sometimes a problem as explained above. Advise Chuck

Now I'm seeing a notice that the site has a minimum of 1200 seconds in order to enter a snipe. Yes it says 1200 seconds (one thousand two hundred seconds) NOT 120 seconds. What's going on???

Thank you for your question about this message. That is supposed to be a preventative measure to keep systems from being overloaded, but it was only supposed to affect ADDING bids, not CHANGING them.
If someone adds hundreds of bids per second, it prevents new snipes close to the deadline, and then the value changes back to normal.
Didn't realize how many people depended on the last-minute changes, so we'll just take it out entirely. Instead, we can restrict the number of snipes per day per customer to something like 2000. Sometimes. there will be hundreds per second ... and those customers should have a dedicated server.
