Can you explain this unsuccessful snipe?

I've been sniping with Bidslammer for years and have sniped dozens, if not hundreds of times. Can you explain why this bid of $1,265 on a card that sold for $1129 did not go through successfully. I'm very disappointed to have lost that card. Please let me know.

Hello Rocco,
Thank you for your question about this tonight. Your Completed tab says that the snipe was placed, but eBay returned an error stating that your token was revoked. If you did not revoke it from your My eBay area, then it may have expired. We check it each time you come to the site, so something changed after you added it. Changing your password at eBay can also trigger this.
You can update the token in your Preferences.
Thank you for writing in, and please let us know if we can answer any other questions.

The only thing that changed recently was I changed my payment preferences with EBAY and in making this change, they required me to establish two-factor authentication. Could this have been the problem?
After this issue with my failed snipe, I contacted EBAY again to see if I can stop the two factor and they told me I cannot remove it if I want to keep the new payment preferences. They also told me that I should be able to notify my third-party sniping site to update/accommodate 2-factor authentication. Is this true?

Our information says that when we placed the snipe at the agreed time, we encountered a message saying that the token was revoked. It could be that it simply expired. If you go to BidSlammer Preferences and follow the steps you awill be up and running again.

OK, I think I am good to go again.
