Thank you for your question about a Desktop icon. We are an online service, so there is no Desktop app or icon.
Your best bet is to click the Slam-It option on the left navigation bar. Install that icon into your browser by dragging it up to your browser menu bar.
OR you can use the new version 2.0, which puts the sniping button directly on the eBay item page.
