If another bidder is using BidSlammer, are. the other bidslammers aware???

Are bids from a BID SAMMER aware if other bids are in place from others who are also bidding for the same item?

Hello Terri,
Thanks for your question about competing sniper programs. If you place snipes with us, there are only two parties that know about it: You and us. Even eBay doesn't know until the snipe is placed. No user is ever aware of the others' interest -- unless a user has already placed a bid publicly on the eBay site.
About 15-20 times per month, two (2) BidSlammer customer compete for the same item. None of these customers know about the others, though.
About once per year, three (3) BidSlammer customers compete for the same item.
And only one time in 20 years have there been four (4) or more people bidding on the same item.
Thanks again for the question -- we didn't know those statistics until we just looked them up as a result of your ticket. :-)

THANK YOU....I was curious because I actually lost an item that Bid Slammer said I won....again !!

Yeah, we figured out a way to improve that. Your tickets are very helpful toward this goal, thanks for keeping us on our toes.

hope your “new way” keeps me from bing “very disapointed” when I discover I lost an item I really wanted even though Bidslammer said I won.

A couple of things that may help:
1. eBay sends an email to bidders when they bid on an item and lose. That is the final source of truth. We're a bid placement service; we do this flawlessly. We post disclaimers that we can't always know the precise reason a bid loses.
2. The recurring problem you experience is that you often bid the same amount as the posted price. You should always bid at least $0.50 more that the posted price. If you bid equal to the amount shown, you won't win because your bid comes last. More information is at the link below.

Many eBay users don't fully understand the minimum bid increment, so don't feel bad if this is a bit confusing. We're happy to help clarify anything on that page, as we're always looking for ways to improve the site documentation.
