That was the message I received 2 auctions ago. I re entered the same unchanged ebay password for this auction.
I again re affirmed the same ebay password again this morning after reading this response.

Ebay required a new password 5-6 weeks ago when I was last active. I updated this info on your site at that time and successfully participated in auctions since then. The only recent ebay change made was for replacing a defunct email address they had for me. You never had the email address to begin with and the one registered to you is still current. So no changes have been made to ebay passwords since it was last updated and successful with your site, and I have continued to re enter this same ebay password on your site and I continue to receive your auto confirm that the "updated" password is working.

FYI: On this last item 121830339806, I previous had it in a group of 3 and after the last failure to bid which you reported as a successful auction, I was afraid that you would not bid on this 2nd item, since you might have considered it as having a previous "win in group"
I cancelled the bid and then re submitted it as a stand alone bid a few hours ago.

I reviewed the complete logs for these snipes. The password we have for you today is different than the password we had during your last snipe. I see you updated the password today. If you miss any more from this point on, let us know since I can confirm we have the correct info.

Also - any kind of situation at eBay where you need to change a password, or update security questions, we can't log you in while those are in effect.

Make sure to re-add item 272065261393 since it is shut off in a group; just add it again without the group name.
