1 second (Experimental)

Hi,
I’ve just subscribed to bidslammer and paid for five power bids and able to allow you to place a bid within 10 seconds.
I want to bid for five items all from the same seller and I can’t tell exactly right now how many seconds they are apart but all extremely close (below 10 seconds I believe) and want to bid and set a reserve for all of them.
What’s the best time period to set please so I can only show my hand at the last min?
Also, what is the lowest accurate time set to ensure I win the auctions?
I note the lowest setting is ‘1 second (experimental)’ what exactly does this mean
I look forward to your reply,
Many thanks,
Regards,
Paul

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your question about setting lead times. The lead time doesn't really matter that much. If there is a tie, you'll lose if your bid comes last. Five seconds is just fine for what you are doing.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, or require other assistance. We are happy to help.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply and don’t really understand what you mean I’ve set all 4 x items at a lead time of 2 seconds on all of them. So what does this really mean? Should I change it? Should I change them all from 2 to 5 seconds as you’ve suggested.
If you look at two of my items you will see Items: 254944399279 & 254944402929 are both within a second of each other so how can I ensure that I have the best chance possible at securing these listings?
Also having not used yourselves before have I set up everything correctly and do I need to remain logged in to both bidslammer & my eBay account at the same time as auction ending and on the same device?
I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Paul

I understand your question better now. I'll answer the easier question first --- you do not have to be logged in anywhere. Your computer can be shut off -- we take care of everything.
Regarding lead time, this doesn't have anything to do with the time spacing between auctions. Many sellers list hundreds of auctions to end in the same minute. We've never seen this affect anything --- not in the last 10 years anyway.
As for the lead time itself, 2 seconds is fine. Just be aware that if there is a tie situation, which occurs often on very popular items, then the earlier bid will win. More information is available on this below. This help page could use some clarification, but it's still helpful. Just read the overview, and then click the "minimum bid increment" link in the last paragraph.
